<< <i>Is that Hewlett Packard paper or are you buying generic paper?
Top notch paper, direct from the BEP, fresh in 1969.
are those hand loaded like a press on those, or are they puter generated?
what I mean is do they use "type" for the serials? if not how do they do them?
spinning reels maybe?

Rampage, ever since someone posted an upcoming auction of many
error notes I've been diligently checking all notes I see.
Could you give an approx. value one of these would have with just
an error in the number?
I'm certainly no source for note errors, but I saw one of the TV shows
regarding how notes are produced and when they have mounted the
printing plates to print the green parts an operator sets a rotating
stamp mechanism that imparts serial # to be printed in succession. If
he makes an error for that sequence setting, this is the result & whole
batches of notes have to be destroyed. I think printing is a three stage
process, meaning each note is printed three times.
Hope I'm correct.

It's mechanical. One of the numbering wheels jammed.
