1968 Topps Seaver How will this grade?

It has the darker cross hatch pattern on the lower section of the card. Does anyone know how this affects the overall grade. I appreciate any and all comments, I know many here have subbed these 1968's ..

Thanks,
Paul

Those bottom corners look bad. I would not have it graded.

That's not his Rookie, but it is his first solo card.

    Seavers rc is 1967

Unless you are doing a psa registry or want the card graded I would say it would not be worth it.

The main reason for the post was to see how the lower dark area would affect the grade. I just pulled out my 50's and 60's cards and have no experience with PSA grading. I was planning on sending 50 to 100 cards on one of the monthly specials. Most of my cards aren't mint since I picked them up in the 80's and early 90's before the PSA grading phase began. I bought on eye appeal and I know the corners are a little worn on most. It's good to get these brutally honest opinions though..

    Thanks

I'd say 6 which probably means a 5. I would still slab it under a $5 special just to keep for your own collection. Good luck.
