i don't see it as true doubling of the die, just strike doubling, but i'm no expert.

This is from the CPG, I guess its just a thickness of the letters and I don't think carries a big premium

I can`t tell from the pics which DDR this is but I know it`s not DDR-001 FS-801. I have all of the DDRs listed by CONECA for 1956 so I`ll do some comparisons when I get home.

FS-801 does indeed bring a premium.

Unfortunately, that is not an 801.

I haven't been able to determine which variety this is from the pics Stefanie, sorry. Are there any markers? die scratches, die polish, gouges, etc?
