does PSA know how to grade 1 ands and 2 - they seem to be all over the place. Some 1's look better than some 2's and some of both look much better than their grade - I really have no clue how PSA assigns the low grades - it looks like a crap shoot. One graders PSA 1 could be anothers PSA 3 or 4.
Nice Ruths, Goose! Maybe next time you can skip the commons and post some expensive cards, though.
I just got this one in the mail today. I actually purchased this one from a board member, traded it to a friend, and then bought it back last week. LOL
Chris My small collection Want List: '61 Topps Roy Campanella in PSA 5-7 Cardinal T206 cards Adam Wainwright GU Jersey
Always looking for Mantle cards such as Stahl Meyer, 1954 Dan Dee, 1959 Bazooka, 1960 Post, 1952 Star Cal Decal, 1952 Tip Top Bread Labels, 1953-54 Briggs Meat, and other Topps, Bowman, and oddball Mantles.
This thread needs a bump. Just got this in today from RepublicaninMass (thanks, Teddy!). It's well loved but I like it that way. And it's my first Jackie. (It's a PSA 2 by the way)

I can finally contribute to this thread now that I have this card in-hand. The front of this card is incredible. So bright and vivid. No wrinkles. No creasing. On the back, there are two very small wrinkles near the corners (you can see the lower-right wrinkle), slight tape residue in the middle and ever-so light paper loss on the top-left corner.
I couldn't care less about the flaws on the back. I love the card. So haapy that I put in a FAT snipe bid to win it last Sunday.

It's a shame that you don't have the money to afford some higher grade baseball cards.
These super rare basketball cards are seldom seen, take a look at this link on the PSA Set Registry of the only graded PSA set of these rarities for more scans: (credit: J Nguyen Set Registry, ... link: >>>>>>>>> 1950-51 Lakers Scott's Potato Chips #1 PSA Set Registry by Spurs&Stars

It has a small "G" written in green ink on the back. I agree and that is exactly why I got it.

I love this card. I can honestly say I've never seen a card this abused in my life.
