My former employer is paying 30X on small odd lots, and will pay more on quantity. Never hurts to ask.
A guy went in there today and asked what they were paying on 90. They asked "What quantity," and he said about $600 face. They quoted him a price for that quantity, and he starts digging out bags and jars. After sorting and counting it ended up about $400 in 90%, about $100 in 40% and about $100 in copper-nickel clad Ikes, all 1971's. He had read "on the internet" that 1971 Ikes were silver. He was told, politely, that they make nice tip money.
They honored the rate they had quoted on the $600 face promised for the $400 face delivered, and bought the 40% at an appropriate rate.
