First post here. Is it possible to convert the 529 College Savings program into precious metals. Any help here would be appreciated.

Best to check with the administrator of the 529 plan.
I have a 529 plan with Fidelity. They don't offer a PM investment option and they a large investment company.
Wouldn't it be nice if they did. I doubt they do though.

I'm not sure about a 529 plan but Fidelity does have a PM investment fund in ASE's and AGE's. You have to ask for the commodities desk, the symbols are SEA1 and GEA1. This is physical metals so there's a storage fee.
