I'm not asking what the melt value is, but what is the going rate if I'm selling? With silver having moved like it has, I just want a double check. Are they going in the range of $1.90 each?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I can't say that I'm a big believer in the sky is falling/Obama is a Muslim/the robots are taking over and we're going to have rioting in the streets scene, but I do like to hedge my bets. In that spirit I did purchase a big bag of war nickels recently. My thinking being that worst case scenario, are people really going to revert to literally hacking ASEs into pieces of eight to make change? Using this reasoning war nickels are perfect; if the going rate in a Mad Max-land future is say 1 ASE for a bottle of whiskey and I only want a shot, 1 war nickel will be just about right.
Having said all of that, I suppose that I am a buyer at about $1.75 per and a seller at $2.25 per, cash only. If anybody wants to make a deal just let me know.

Some shun them but there is a definate market for them here in Colorado. Yes, your price range is abour correct. Silver is krazy volatile of course but we are speaking of the mid-$40s spot price range.
