When did PayPal have your back or save you?

I have seen a lot of post lately complaining about this and that from PayPal, but tell me your success story. One where you were right, but the odds were against you and PayPal took care of you? Maybe one where you were just straight up ripped and PayPal ponied up the fee's? Don't get me wrong, I don't like the fee's and their omnipotence to due whatever they want to YOUR money whenever they feel like it, but in most circumstances I can send money quickly and cheaply (sometimes free), get protection (at least the sense of it) and get some information I may need to protect against fraud (sometimes).

Point is there must be several occasions where you thought all was lost and gone and PayPal appeared as a demi-god, please share.
