Is there a silver price at which the Mint/Guvmint may discontinue striking the ASEs?

They can't, by law they must produce them to demand.

Instead of discontinuing, they should start minting fractionals.

I would love to see some fractional eagles! It would be right about time with Ag close to $50.

ASE fractionals are a great idea.

That would keep the ASEs affordable to the masses.

    Let them buy copper eagles.

I would like to see halves and quarter but I am not sure about the dime. The design would be so small.

It would be cool if they used the Standing Liberty for the quarter but I suppose they would all have to be the Walking Liberty design as I am not sure what they would use on the half (as it has beed taken).
