off the wall question about palladium

Hi all. this is going to sound a little crazy. I am a diabetic and have been for the past 10 years. I was going through a old box of stuff when I used to travel on the road. I found a box of my old test Strips that are made with Palladium. I was wondering if there was any way to recover this? any ideas? I know its goofy but at almost 800 an ounce. Maybe there would be enought to turn that into an ASE. who knows. any thoughts.
