Have you wondered why there are no lines of people with silver to sell outside coin shops? Such lines were common during the 1979-80 silver rush.

The difference may be that there was no eBay back then. Just prior to writing this I checked eBay and found that 768,252 lots identified as sterling silver were up for sale.

I wonder what the total weight is?
