    We make poke at stuff like this, but how are these different that coins? Minted for use by people, cost of coin mintage is less than face value (well used to be true) AND I bet more people have visited a Chuck E Chese than a Denver, San Fran, Philly, West Point or even a private mint or the BEP.

    Maybe this is for this guy??

    I think they can make as many as they want at the CEC token factory. But the US mint trys not to let them get out. But will be cool to have at face or 75 cents.image

    Wow, the strike on the ears is SHARP! You usually don't see that-- that's a type 2 C on the cap-- if it were a type 3 (Squiggly C) I'd cough up the cash. Not for a type 2.

    I agree, I've also been buying Mint errors from that seller for years. Some of his Buy It Now auctions are a little aggressively priced, but he does know his stuff.

    As for the coin in the OP, markets for that type of material do exist. I love adding oddball things like gaming tokens to my clipped type collections, if he had one of those with a triple clip instead of a triple strike I'd be very tempted to make him an offer.

    What ever floats your boat, I do recall someone on this forum that collects flat washers with clips and probably off center holes.
