Pretty much, but I am afraid to purchase anything nice as I fear, based on the advice of a forum member than if I get divorced all of my nice stuff is gone anyways so why buy a Porsche when I will be driving a Honda next week,
<< <i>Will check out the D/D and thanks for interrupting your dinner to look. Yeah the 34 definitely has some old cleaning on it, what doesn't these days >>
I missed out on dessert over all of this! You owe me some tiramisu.
LOL, whatever Greg, lets see how you do on the 2 I just requested from ya! Thanks tot he boards, I always started all my threads, "first, let me say I know my pictures suck" and no one ever says anything, the one dime I don't...............
The 1834 $2 1/2 sure has a lot of detail. I'd guess AU50 with a light cleaning. Nice coin and a good representation for the type. Also, it's also the first year of issue which is nice. The 1846-D looks nice and surprisingly problem free for such a well circulated F-12 Dahlonega mint coin---proof that these coins did their job in commerce as intended. Are you planning to get them slabbed?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I'd say the Classic is AU details w/nice color, very sharp strike, but looks to have been wiped w/hairlines. THe '46-D is Fine details w/an old cleaning. Can't see any hairlines from the pics, but the 2nd set makes the surfaces look a bit glossy.

The 46 looks like Lady Liberty took a shot to the temple!

Sorry, man. I was out for the evening, and no one texted me to tell me there was an urgent thread on he forum that required my attention.
It's really hard to evaluate with those photos. The 46-D looks like it has Fine details. Mag up on the "D" to see if you have a D/D variety.
