HARMON KILLEBREW WILL HIT A HOME RUN FOR YOUR TEAM

fair enough.....beats a Carl Yastrzemski K with the sacks full and two down.
so, now i'd like to know what-the-heck-izit????
it seems to have been some kind of promotional insert from a Topps wax box, maybe 1968? since it refers to playing cards, but the home run reference is throwing me off because Killebrew's 1968 Topps playing card has him hitting a DOUBLE.
the insert measures 3 1/8 X 2 3/16, has a shiny gloss on the surface and blank back with all images visibly reversed.

any help identifying this oddball would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

<< <i>Yes, I think you are correct. Promotional item for the Topps "game" cards. I collect Killebrew and also noticed that his card was a double as well as the player depicted was not Harmon. Nice oddball item. >>
and that's not Yaz either LOL

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
<< <i>Harmon looks more like Babe Ruth! >>
i bet a lot of American League hurlers felt that way after he flattened their fastballs.
Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972
