1952-53 Topps, 1954-55 Bowman find - what to do?

Earlier this week, a friend brought me a list of cards that he and his brother had collected in the early 1950s. I haven't seen the cards yet. The list was neatly typed, and each card was graded. He said that his brother in Minnesota got a dealer friend to grade them 10 years ago. There were probably 100 1952 Topps, including about 15 high numbers. Yes, the Mantle was there. The list said the Mantle was graded EX with tape. The Reese was graded EX, but many of the others were stamped on the back with one of the brother's name. There were about 200 1953 Topps, with close to 60 high numbers (some duplicates), and with many cards having the dreaded stamp on the back. The 1954 and 1955 Bowman sets were listed as mainly "mint" and complete, minus less than 10 cards. There was also a 1954 Bowman football set and 27 of 33 1954 Red Hearts set, with the key cards missing. He wants me to help them sell the cards, so it will be very difficult to buy them outright. Any suggestions on what would be the best way to proceed? Thanks for your thoughts.
