PSA/DNA turnaround on specials

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, and I was wondering if anyone has experience with turnaround times on the PSA/DNA submission specials. I submitted autographs under both March and April specials, and I was wondering how long I should expect to wait. The items were just inputted last week, so I assume I have a while to go. That said, is it closer to three weeks or five weeks when they say "depending on demand" for the turnaround time?

I'm in no rush, but I'd like to know whether I should stop checking the update status. image

  • Does the lack of responses indicate that no one else on the board uses the specials or is it something more sinister... like ignoring new users?

    Welcome to the forums NorthKorea.....

Things are pretty slow on this forum so don't be too disappointed with the slow response time. I personally don't use PSA/DNA so I can't help you. But hang in there....someone will be chiming in soon I am sure.
Just out of curiosity...what autographs did you submit? Who do you collect?

I'm in the same boat as you. I sent in items to PSA March 20th and had my CC processed on the 27th. Haven't heard anything since. What do you mean the items were input last week? How do you know the items were input into the system (or do you mean payment was processed)?

My March PSADNA special was logged on the April 8th and results popped on April 22nd.

So, two weeks? That's not so bad then. image

To the person who asked what I subbed, my first batch was two Larry Bird autos, a Lemieux and an Yzerman. The second batch was six different Miguel Cabrera autos.
Personally, I collect hockey and baseball memorabilia, but I was hoping to get the Birds authenticated so I could trade them for other hockey stuff that I want. image

To the person who asked about inputted... it shows up on the psacard.com website of when the orders were actually input into their system. It doesn't exactly line-up with when the charges are posted.

This was the first order I've submitted to PSA. How do I find out when my order was input into their system, and how do I see the results?

You input your submission ticket number (upper right corner of the submission form) along with your zip-code. If you didn't write down your submission number (I always forget to, myself), you can call customer service and ask them for the number. image

Found it. Thanks for showing me.

I checked my submission #. Payment processed 3/29/11 and order is still being processed image. Nothing is even populating showing what I submitted, only that 6 items were done. Will I get an email when there is an update, or do I need to just keep checking until it shows up?

North Korea ... not many people are active on this forum. Go to the "Community Message Board" forum and post your questions. There is a LOT of activity regarding submissions of both autographed and non autographed cards. I am a big fan of autographed cards and would like to see your results when they come back. Good Luck with your submission.

  • Both Birds failed, the Yzerman was "ungradeable" and the Lemieux received a grade. One out of four. Not bad, I suppose. image The Yzerman, I think it was too light to get a grade. I'll try to track down the seller for that one, but my guess is he's long gone. As for the Birds, I guess that's what I get for purchasing them from someone who received a box of cards as an inheritance. Thankfully the seller has offered to send me a refund on both of them. image

My second batch currently has the status of "Receive Hold" whatever that means.
  • The results have been posted for my Cabrera items, and I'm actually stunned. Only four of the six items came back as authentic. This time around, I'm concerned, as all six items were purchased from major national companies who had contracts with Cabrera for signing. I'll know when they arrive, but my thinking is that they auto-rejected the two items inscribed with "20" instead of "24" which simply shows ignorance on the part of the graders. I'll post for sure when I get the items back. image
