Silver spot price. Do you think....................

.................... that this year or next it could have a realistic chance to break $100.00 per ounce?

I thought $20.00 per ounce was crazy 2-3 years ago. I sold a bunch of silver at $14.00 a couple of years ago.

I thought it would be a long time before it hit $30.00

$50.00 will likely happen very soon.

So is silver giving us baby boomers, gen Xers and gen Yers a chance to relive what our parents and grandparents were able to do with gold when it was priced at $50.00 per ounce or less?

If I could predict the future, I probably would be on my own island, surrounded by playboy bunnies, and with Longacre serving me sushi and drinks. image Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to the question.

In my experience, when an asset class rises as sharply as silver has recently, the fall is just as sharp. Nasdaq in 2000, Florida real estate in 2007, etc. That's all I know.

From what I have heard this is a manipulated market for both Gold and Silver. The target dump price for silver is $100 per ounce. The "smart money" is going to start selling heavy before the $100 target. It is expected that silver will reach its max in mid June.

You need to remeber that there is very little commercial use of silver any more.

I have long since given up predicting how high it will go. I thought $24 was too high. I am not a believer in silver and suspect that the market is being manipulated. When the "right" people have their money out ... watch out. A change in margin rules may signal that the exit of the "right" people has been accomplished.

Things are moving so quickly in Silver. One day I sell a bunch of ASEs... a day later I want to buy them back for more than I sold them for.

Nothing wrong with the return you saw on the investment. Bought at $13 and sold at $36...very, very good return!!!!

I thought $10 silver was strong and $20 silver was crazy.........ha!

On a more serious note, I get concerned when the people who are buying metals just think it can't ever go down, regardless of how you caution them about hard asset investment and market flucuations.
