Should I open this pack?

Its a 1981 Pack with a 50-50 all centered Montana rookie on front. I love this pack and wanted to have it graded because it looks so sweet. I thought it would grade a solid 9-10 pack grade and thats what I would be happy with. I know the pack is 100% authentic as the seal is normal and shows no signs of fraud. But Ive been looking over the pack in every angle and noticed a tiny tiny 2mm tear on one of the edges of the folds in the middle. Looks like it got hooked a tade. So now I think the pack will grade about a 7 which doesnt look nice to me with a Mint montana showing. Now what should I do? Bust it and go for a 9-10 single card grade? or just leave it? PSA 9 Montanas go for about 260.00 but I thnk a 50-50 one will get a bit more. I paid about what a PSA 8.5 goes for on this pack. And ive looked over the card and feel at its worst day would get an 8.5 . What would you do???
Thoughts? Im about 65% towards busting it and Im about to go meet a friend for drinks. So not sure if it will stay unopened buy the end of the night.

NO WAY!!!!!
DON'T! YOU CAN ALWAYS OPEN IT!!! HOW MANY MONTANA ROOKIES ARE THERE?
HOW MANY WITH HIM ON TOP OF THE PACK?
EXACTLY!!
AND, I AM NOT EVEN LOOKING AT THE CARD NOW BUT IT IS PROBABLY AN 8 IF YOU SAY 9. THAT IS PSA.
IN PACKS, IT JUST NEEDS TO BE AUTHENTIC!
I NEVER WRITE IN ALL CAPS.... DO NOT OPEN!
OR DO, AND MAKE MINE WORTH MORE AND I HOPE YOU GET A PSA 9!

It's a beauty.
I think it looks great as is...
The other option you have is to send it in for grading, if you don't like the grade, then decide at that point if it may be worth opening.

That means an 8.
No offense!
Go ahead open it, "make my day!"
Are 1981 packs with Joe on the front rare? If so you could sell it for a nice amount.

Slab the pack.

Just looked over the commets. Lots of doubt that this card isnt a 9. I can understand that. But in hand this is a loose 1981 cello pack. Not one of those skin tight packs that kill every corner in the pack. You can slide the card a bit on the front to see all the corners and Im telling you under a 10x loop they are mint! no chips at all. Pack might not live this weekend. Still holding back bc it does look sweet in that pack. But that tear drives me crazy. It does have the rough edge on the bottom but that is nothig to take it out of a 9 case.
rip away.. and post.. fingers crossed for you on a 9+
and a dupe underneath
Hey handyman... "Step away from the pack, step away from the pack!"
It IS still sealed, right?
Good luck whatever way you decide to go. It would be a shame to see that pack get ripped but you would make Muggy's packs more valuable.
