Added two vintage hockey cornerstones in one week! PSA 7 Jacques Plante and PSA 8 Rocket Richard ro

Hi everyone,

I just thought I'd share my latest two pick-ups. I've been searching a long time for these cards in these grades. -Nathanael

First, a PSA 8 Rocket Richard rookie for my basic set:

And then, a PSA 7 Jacques Plante rookie for my 1955 Parkhurst set, which vaulted me into 4th all-time in the rankings:

Don't follow hockey much, but those two cards are REAL NICE looking! Congrats. I really like the look of the '51 Parkhurst ... very unique.
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
  • Those are awesome! I have both of those, and I am proud of them, but they are in much lower grades than yours . Enjoy them! Also, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliments. The 51 Parkies have so much history behind their creation and production. It's nice to finally have a high end example of my favorite player of all-time.

No way I'm going for a Quaker Oats Plante. I've never been particularly interested in parallels. Especially considering it is the same front and virtually the same information on the back of the card in comparison to the regular 55 Parkie set. Plus, it would be 10k or more for a PSA 7.
