Agree with John...he's sold a bunch of raw 71 and 72 cellos too that mysteriously contained no gum, LOL..
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I don't understand, he's at a 99.6% and honestly, there were some pretty expensive cellos he had for sale that I wanted. Is there a history of him somewhere? Seems he just has issues with tickets getting to people on time according to toolhaus.

He was called out here a while ago as his never ending supply of 1971 cellos did not have any gum visible in the side pictures even though the display box clearly says gum is included (FYI, that is not the case for the 1970 cellos, no gum was advertised). He promptly stopped showing pictures of the side and back of each pack.
IMO uneducated buyers are buying his packs and probably are not opening them and/or sending them in for grading. John

I agree with John. Until about 6 or so years ago I did not know a lot about unopened material. That's when I met John and many others on an "Unopened Pack" forum we had on eBay. Prior to then I would purchase some unopened material ... some I kept closed and some I ripped. I later realized that I did buy quite a few BAD packs. HOWEVER, if I did not join that forum (and this board) I may still have continued to buy bad stuff. There must be THOUSANDS of people who blindly buy this stuff ... people who were not as lucky as me to meet people who knew unopened like the back of their hand.
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I don;t have a lot of info on the seller but I think he is mainly a reseller. he is probably buying them on the cheap from someone as opposed to making them himself. Still does not make it right if you know what is going on
The truth is that 95% of unopened buyers have no idea what they're buying or what to look for and that's why you see these pack factories selling their wares for years on ebay. The experienced unopened collectors just avoid those sellers from the get-go and the people who are bidding on the auctions just don't realize they are buying junk. Every now and then, you will see a resealer get called out via negative feedback, but it is not the norm. Most collectors are too easily seduced by the perceived "bargain" that they are getting to realize why those prices are so low to begin with..Steve Hart estimated that about 70% of raw unopened packs for sale on ebay are NG, and I'd venture to say that may be a conservative estimate..
I also agree with packcollector...there are also some sellers may not be deliberately resealing or fabricating packs, but flipping cut-rate packs bought on the cheap for a quick profit..

That dude has been making home made 1966 and 1971 cellos for years.
Edit to add I won't trust ANY of his stuff, even if it's graded. John
Current obsession, all things Topps 1969 - 1972
