What percent of melt are dealers paying for sterling these days?

Last year they were discounting sterling rather heavily. Is that still the case?

What percent of melt can be expected if marked sterling is offered?

Why is it "employee heavy?" Does it have to do with the silverware items, such as knives, that are not solid sterling?
