2009 Ultra High Reliefs -> PL
![AfiKomen](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/Mr.Bill.jpg)
I read recently that PCGS is now grading some of the 2009 Ultra High Relief gold coins as Proof Like.
I have a First Strike 2009 that scored MS70.
What do folks think about re-submitting for a shot at PL 70?

Got a pic?
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I didnt realize there was a great degree of variation from the Mint on these coins.
Mine is also First Strike so I am not submitting it again and losing that designation. But mine is only a MS69 and I just plan to holding it.
BTW
I am a fan of PCGS but have to take issue on that one.
Thanks for the welcome and tips.

No, you will not.

Also, you don't lose the MS-70 grade either. Worst case is that it stays in the same grade/first strike. With luck, PL gets added.

That's what I was reasoning out, I mean it would be kind of lousy if they decided you are now MS69.
Does anyone happen to know the rates of MS70's making it to PL70s?
ie are we talking 1 in 100 makes it, or 30% of the MS70's are making it to PL70, etc....

A PCGS First Strike PL70 Im told is worth $5,000 to $7,000
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Any updated valuations for 2023? That seemed to be missing from the PCGS Website article posted this morning on the 2009 Ultra-High Reliefs.
