Stacks/Bowers Auction Archives

jomjom Posts: 3,490 ✭✭✭✭✭
Does anyone know if Stack/Bowers is going to include the previous archives from earlier Stacks auctions? From what I can tell they haven't done so. I did find something called Stacks Archives where they had some data from before the ANR/Stacks merger. I didn't look through it completely but the info seems to there. Will S/B include this info at some point? What about the auctions with ANR/Stacks?

Just curious.

Thanks

They are definitely working on this - no date for when it will be completed, but they are working on it.

Try legacy.stacks.com -- that's the old site and old archive, which my friends at Stack's have done a miserable job publicizing.

OK, that's pretty good. I hope it sticks around...at least until the new guys get it integrated into their stuff.

    Also available is http://www.stacksarchive.com/

It appears to be the best kept secret in numismatics.
  • I had some problems with searching the last auction archive (Baltimore). I found that if i went to my bid history and pulled up a coin I had been bidding on that I was able to search the archive that way. kind of going through the back door sort of speak.

Thank you. I had a bunch of auction records save in my "favorites" but now they come up 404 Error. Now maybe I can find them again.
