ebay 10 % off Coupon

I think that most of us on this site are in agreement, ebay is both necessary and frustrating. The latest thing is they are now charging a final value fee percentage on everything including postage. Their Paypal has already been getting away with this. So if someone comes on here with a little idea to end around ebay, why not, chalk one up for the little guy. As I digress, my topic is as follows- I just received a 10% off coupon up to $100 (spend a $1000), in the past I have purchased bullion and have used that coupon wisely. This time however I notice it is for Motors Parts and Accessories only so there goes my opportunity as a buyer and seller. Unless, what if we list our coins under Motors Parts and Accessories with a BIN price. The seller and buyer make out. I would use my coupon if I could buy coins, it just says that catagory, not the item

  • My first thought is ebay will shut that down in a heartbeat , but with a little thought...it could work. Slap a coin in a 2 x 2 and run a string through it , voila , a lucky drivers mascot for suspending from the rear view mirror.

eBay's 10% off coupons are usually just a waste of bytes for coin sellers. And lets face it, they have the information available that says we only buy and sell coins so why waste the resources giving us a 10% coupon for "Motor Parts and Assessories"?

Oh yeah. It makes them look good! "But...but.....We gave out 10% off Coupons!" image

The only way it will work is if you strike a deal with someone you know and trust and then list or have it listed and described as a car part. Worked for me and a coin buddy I trust.

Cool.. seated dimes or rosies , mercs , your choice for only $xx.xx , suitable for holing as buttons or cufflinks. Here we have silver dollars , suitable for replacing those dull boring buckles...etc etc.. with a BIN a seller could adapt to whatever the current discount is.

...which, because it's being done alongside an overall fee decrease, will save sellers like me money.

I would have no problem redeeming that coupon... I'm always looking for parts on my 66' Riviera project. image
