It appears to be loaded with great inserts, the only problem is the base set is not great looking. Anything out there as far as pricing Cory?

For some reason, this set has me thinking about starting a SF Giants type set. I really like some of these new inserts, so it might be fun to get an example of the Giants in each of the sets. Is this insane, given the number of new sets/inserts/subsets?

The checklist I saw had him in the base set (with parallels) and a cloth sticker 1972 design.

I plan to buy a couple of boxes.

I definitely have mixed emotions about these. I think that Topps is flooding the market with too many reprint type sets. I absolutely love Heritage. But when you take Topps Lineage, what are they going to do next year? Reprints of the 2011 Topps Lineage? How about Reprints of all Topps Heritage from 2001 to 2011 with modern players. How about reprints of all Heritage with players from the 50's. That would really be confusing. Let's have 2011 reprints of the 2010 "Cards your Momma Threw Out. It's just getting a little ridiculous in my opinion.

After seeing some rips I have mixed emotions too. But I really like what I see so far. The 1972 cloth stickers are cool and there are chromes in this product as well. I also like the autograph checklist and the 1975 mini set. It reminds me of Topps All Time Fan Favorites. Just wish my local guy would get them in....

Hi Mike, yes they should be at hobby shops today. With the exception of my hobby shop which gets their cards from another hobby shop and the owner of that shop is set up at the national. So my local guy wont get them until next week. So I guess I wont have any in hand until I go to the national on Saturday / Sunday. UGH!!!

Edit to add: Where is Doran for this? I thought he would be all over this stuff. Although he could make it better than topps could.

The 3d cards look awesome but this scanner sucks for those and the shinny cards.

The Ruth and Wagner were the 2 cloth cards

glue stuck to the top of the Chipper Jones card but I think I can get it off

I haven't bought any boxes, and won't until retail comes out, but I did have a rare Budweiser/eBay moment the other night and bought several inserts. I'm not much into game used cards, but the '75s with the relics I love.

Like the Votto 3D too, Zep!!

On second thought, I should ask......will this product be distributed in retail?? Obviously, some stuff is not, but that's all I can afford. image

So did they just use the 2011 design as the base set and add that huge scripted Topps Lineage logo on them? Or did they come up with soemthing more creative?

I am a bit disapointed with the base card design but the inserts trumph them. I opened a blaster last night and every blaster comes with a relic card. Mine was a 75 mini Longoria.

Is it me or is there a very bad centering problem with the base cards? I didn't notice them on the thread but when I opened my blaster I noticed very bad centering and now that I look through the thread again I see quite a bit of centering issues.

Just got word my local dealer finally got hobby in, I hope to rip some boxes some time this week.
