I bought it as an AU-50... my photo does not really show the luster too well but it's nice.

    I agree, that's half the reason I posted it here for opinion.
    I think it's the real deal but would welcome any feedback or assurance.

    Jeez, this dropped like a rock. Still looking for opinions...
    How's the reverse strike? Those breast feathers seem hammered to me.

    It looks genuine to me, with a nice dark patina that I happen to like. Definitely AU. Nice!

    I think it has at least 53/55 details if more luster was showing..but I would rather have that thick skin as a freshly dipped one anyday. I like itimage

    Gosh Brian, I don't know about that one...
    I can't see anything different about it from the authenticated one I'm comparing it to. But my gut reaction is negative. Maybe it's just the photo? Obverse doesn't look so "dead" in hand?

    That's exactly what I thought as well. I might just get this piece photographed properly by somebody here, it's much prettier than my photos.
    I've passed up more than a few dipped out white examples in that grade range.
