Just like ANY seller of a legit unopened pack, If the seller thought there was a good chance the unopened pack busted by him would be worth a lot more than the unopened pack sold by him, then it would be busted by him...period.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Wax on the front surface of a card can usually be wiped off, leaving no trace. Still, a card at the bottom of a pack is more likely to have corner issues.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
I opened a 1968 FB pack with Tommy Mcdonald showing on back (ie the wax card) and he got a 9 from psa
P.S. The pack got rejected by GAI when sent in for grading 10 years ago so that's why I opened it. Also pulled a mint Dick Butkus and 2 posters, not one. Was a legit pack but when Paul Wright was the grader GAI was very conservative, that went to h e double hockey sticks when he left.

If this business/industry is all about supply and demand, then it is an amazing collectible piece to hold onto as is.
I wish I can afford it right now, that pack would be the holy grail to me.

What would you be willing to pay for that pack. At that asking price, I think I would rather have a more vintage item, like one of the parkhurst.
