Dansco 7070 Album question

I noticed when filling my large cent slots that two of the coins did not fit snug; Draped Bust and Coronet 1816. Has anyone noticed this with their albums? 35 other slots I have not noticed this yet.

Yes, this is a common problem. Apparently, there is some variation in the size of the early copper coins. I also believe that this may be seen with other denominations.

Yes. This happened to me also. The bust half dollar has the opposite problem,
if you get an early date half dollar. The coin is larger than the slot, and you
may have to enlarge the slot a little bit. This can be messy.

You can make shims for the coins that are too small by cutting narrow strips (~1/8 inch) from the end of the slides.
