my itch and on the fence about

has been to sell some Au for .999 Ag AND put all my junkie junk Ag into either bars or rounds or even ASE.

i've made enough(?) on the junk to take the hit of trading up and thinking that i can never pick the right side to sell, it would be better off selling "excellent" Ag into a softer market?

all i am sure of is the 35% silver nickels are the dreck with 40% nearby.

silver has seemed to move % wise higher than gold for a long time.

i just dunnno when inflation is spoken of in all courts as a concern that Au will start to really shine brighter.

just yesterday my wife mentioned that it seemed everything in the grocery store was up in price, with less sales. most of it i think is the cost of transportation to market, for now.

oh, i'm on the fence about changing my avatar back....image

I did a "conversion" back in early November. A roll +2 of pretty awful junk .999 rounds, a half-dozen .925/.999 odd weight art bars, and an Ohio Precious Metals 100 oz poured bar:

Exchanged for a roll of 2010 silver eagles, $100 cash, and a 100 oz struck JM bar in box:

I felt good about the trade back then, I feel even better about it now.
