Had an order ready to go (50 cards all between 1953-63) I have noticed many complain it takes too long to get the job done at PSA. I am also on the SGC message board and have subbed about 20 cards with them but over 1500 with PSA. Probably wouldn't hurt me to send this sub to them as a gesture of goodwill and to lighten the load at PSA. Consider it done.

    I agree, I agree, I agree image

Made two subs while at the Sun Times Show in Chicago last month...

Sub #1 - 25 cards under the March C.C. Special (~45 day turnaround)... popped on the 7th Business day!!!

Sub #2 - 2 SB XLV tickets at full price submission (~20 day turnaround)... it's now the 22nd Business day & still no poppage image

Heck, Sub #1 even logged 4-5 days after sub #2... had 2 mechanical errors from sub #1, returned them to CA, got them corrected, and even got them back already.

Just had a 168 card sub pop in 7 days!! All the piggybackers are happy at the expense of my own stuff!
  • I'm on day 29 for a 54 card sub. I guess they are trying to raise my average; it's the first time I've had to wait over a week.
  • Seriously huh! My latest pop yesterday of 89 cards took 18 freaking days. 2nd longest wait since joining. 15th submission.

It is odd how some wait and some don't. Handwriting, printer issues?

I always hand write mine and usually sub 50 to 100 at a time. I guess I like writing and organizing them before sending.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys! anyways, my 70 card submission was logged late this afternoon so all is well. lets hops for a quick turnaround! I renewed by Club membership and my 6 freebies (cough) where also logged. the 6 freebies are all HOF's from 1966 Topps baseball, including a Fergie Jenkins Rookie. Maz measures slightly short side to side, but everything else is rock solid 8 with a chance for a 9 or two!

i feel you pain...however, it seems to me that if you submit cards that are basically from the same set or regular type cards they get graded faster. i just had a 18 day total turn around (thats including weekends) on a large order...but all cards were from 9 different types of main sets. normally i submit orders that are all over the board with my favre master set. this past order was favre flight to 420's/flight chromes/92 Finest Football Set/97 SPx Holofame/96 Absolute Metal XL and a few other smaller mid 90's football insert sets. grades were pretty good too. however the other 3 orders of the same size are still waiting...i would assume they will take quite awhile getting through the spec department.

i have also noticed that tall boys/patches etc take a while longer too. i a 28 card tallboy that was logged a few days earlier then the one that popped and its still waiting.
