Which Walker would you choose?

Which Walking Liberty half dollar would you choose for your 3-coin silver set if you had a nice, mint state 1916-D mercury dime and 1916 standing liberty quarter? Not that I do..., or will.


ed.- sorry, I didn't mean you had to limit it to a '16. I think I'd have to put in a 21-S mint state Walker.

I'd choose a 16 S. It's a pain to find a nice, affordable example in F-VF, so a mint-state example would be a dream for me. On the bright side, I'm only 3 or 4 lottery numbers away from being able to afford one.

Yes, I'd go for the 16S also, the MS coins have that nice matte finish and satiny luster, and can be found well struck.
To kahokia's point, the 16-S I believe is significantly scarcer in true F and VF than in AU and MS. I hunted for over a year for two different
collectors for a true Fine without succuss. I currently own two certified XF45's and an AU58, and have had more G-VG's than I can recall, but
have never owned a Fine or VF of this date.
