Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    And isn't it ironic . . . don't you think?
    A little too ironic . . . and, yeah, I really do think . . .

Hey CU ID of the Week:

Changed? It's been that way for almost a year. Not as catchy as your old puking pumpkin, but what's an old man to do. Let me know when you've grown up enough to have a flame that's worth the bandwidth.

I sent a bunch of valuable cards to Ron for him to submit for me. Quite honestly....all of the "Where's Ron" talk is making me uneasy to say the least. He has communicated with me and is waiting for the sub to pop. I believe him to be a stand up guy and will update this after my cards are graded and returned to me.

Mickey, doubt you will have any problems with your sub.

    Good for you.

I PM'd Ron two Saturday's ago and he replied to me the next day. Just because someone is not posting doesn't mean there is something wrong. Of everyone I have ever dealt with in cards over the last 30 years, Ron is in the top tow of ethical, fair and above all top class indivduals I have ever dealt with.

I'd be willing to refund double the amount of your cards if Ron defaults on his deal with you. Has he ever done anything to make anyone doubt his worthiness on these boards? Didn't think so.

I said that I was feeling uneasy because many are asking where he is at. I am not implying anything. Ron and I have only ever dealt fairly and honestly. I even ask him for advice about our pets as we are both animal lovers.

I have been here less then a year but Ron is not a cheat.

You have nothing to worry about. I am a small time player in the card world but big guys like him have more to lose by cheating someone then they have to gain.

Be patient and it will work out.

I sold some cards to a buyer in Australia who is normaly an instant payer. I mailed them before recieving payment as it was the only buyer not to pay and I have sold two other times to this buyer. I mentioned it to the post office worker and he said he will pay. Finally the money came over.

    Have faith in good people.

I saw that trailer tonight when I was at Source Code

I was more excited about the new Faster and Furiouser trailer, and am anxious to see how Vin Diesel and that other guy survive a 300-ft drop into the river.

When I saw that I laughed out loud. But no one else in the theater was laughing so I got an elbow in the ribs from my wife.

    Hey guys -

Yes I am still around and yes the original subject of the thread is true.

It's been a rewarding, draining, interesting experience so far. I believe in what I'm doing but I'm really worried about my wife, she's been working so hard for me that she's exhausted and has come down with a cough she can't shake.

Danny - pm'd you about our sub, it'll be both logged and turned soon. 124 cards and your big cards are in a separate order (pm'd you the submission number) so they'll pop faster.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and I'm looking forward to being more active again once this challenge is complete.

    Best to all -
