Commems .... a crash course .... pics

Forgive me if the title seems a little misleading, I needed something simple in the title that I could easily remember in the future since Chrome has almost nil search capabilities.
Here is the purpose of my post. Some of you may remember me posting something similar to this last year. Well, I failed the level 2 CFA exam. Me and about 61% of the takers got the honor of taking it again this year (including my three other co-workers). I stated last year on May 18th that I was signing off until after the test ( I did), I had studied approximately 300 hrs (I did and probably finished around the 350hr range), and that I would come back and take more photos, learn more about coins, etc ( I didn't).
Well, I came back to the forum and coin collecting this winter while I started to prepare for retaking the test. I dabbled, I bought some stuff ( that I still like, don't get me wrong. AUandAG I still have the 55-s in it's plastic, in the envelope, just as it was), I talked a little bit and I read, a lot. At some point not to long ago I ended up buying an Iowa from Broadstruck. Iowa's hold a soft spot for me...llafoe, you can stop reading...... long story short, I went to college, met wife, blah blah blah. She has one I acquired for her and I decided I wanted one for me. I knew zip about commems at that point but really liked the look of Broadstuck's. So I bought it. Shortly thereafter Commemdude posted a thread on commems. I followed it, posted on it, and have talked to commemdude, justacommeman, and broadstruck about these coins. I feel I have finally settled on a set to build (hopefully one of many, and many different types). I've started acquiring reading material, and talking to commem collectors. I'm growing, learning coin collecting discipline, refining what I like, if the CFA has taught me anything it is to really hone in on what you are trying to do.
So, here is my thought. I'm going to build a 50 coin set (realize I'm not including multi year issues) after the test. I don't know everything about all 50 (in fact I know very little about very few). I would like to see an example of a PQ version of each of the 50 designs. The more posters of examples the better. They can be yours, they can be others (but site your sources), I don't really care, but the point is I would like a wealth of info here, that is easily searchable, for me to peruse as well as others who may have interest now and in the future. If you have pics but no way to post them, shoot them to my email. I'll make sure they get posted.
. I have a full time job, but please, feel free to contact me, sometimes it gets sent to junk mail but I check my junk mail regularly so I should catch any and all that get headed off there. We'll see you people in early June.
Nick

Here are a few of my personal coins that I consider PQ:
My Iowa (in a PCGS Rattler holder):
My Hawaii (in a very old NGC 2.1 holder):
My Lafayette:
Upon the three-hundredth anniversary of the founding of New Netherland, a souvenir half-dollar was authorized. In 1626, the Dutch West India Company sent Peter Minuit as Director-General to the new settlement. A group of permanent colonists had arrived in New York harbor in the vessel “Nieu Nederland” in 1624 under Cornelius Mey, the first governor. Soon after his arrival in the New World, Minuit became friendly with the local Indians and purchased Manhattan Island for a nominal sum (reputedly twenty-four dollars) in the name of his Company.
Map made by Adriaen Block of is 1614 expedition to North America. It is the first map to show Long Island as an island. It is also the first appearance of the term “New Netherland” to describe the colony.
There were other Huguenot-Walloon colonies in South Carolina and in Florida; however, the term “Middle States” in the Act refers only to New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware settlements. The settlement which centered about Manhattan Island was the most prosperous in later years. The colony was called New Netherland from the time of its settlement until 1664. In that year, after the territory had been torn from the possession of the Dutch, the name was changed, by the English, to New York, in honor of the Duke of York, who later ruled as James II.
It is notable that the Act authorizes a coinage to commemorate an event, whereas the coin portrays persons only indirectly associated with the occasion.
