Let's not start with the "that's what she said" fodder either!
The two "trimmed" cards were both 9.5s cracked out of BGS (old) holders. The Concepcion was a crackout of my nicest PSA 9 for that card. Go figure. The Luzinski was a SGC 98 crackout. All the rest were raw.
If the grade doesn't fit, you must resubmit.
I honestly thought the Luzinski, Carew, Morgan, and Concepcion had a GEM MINT shot. Maybe the Morgan and Carew were sheet cut? I have looked them over very closely and they measure up exactly as they should. Is there an easy way to tell if a card is sheetcut?

I've wondered the same thing... not sure, but will be interested to read responses.
On your grades... man, that's ruff. Sure seems like there are times results vary on "mood" more than reality.
ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!

A sheetcut will usually have perfect corners and edges, but have some wear on the surface. Look for very light scratches or scuffs that can only be seen when tilting it in the light.

A good way to tell a BGS sheet cut card is by the subgrades.
If the centering, edges and corners all received 9.5 or 10's and then the surface was the only subgrade that was a 9 then the card was sheet cut (just as Lee says above).
