A little dilemma with a seller - need opinions

OK, so I bid (and won) multiple auctions. I emailed the seller asking if he was willing to combine the shipping and he agreed that I should wait on paying for anything until all the auctions have ended. It's been over 4 days since I've won the last auction and I haven't rec'd an invoice for the total with adjusted shipping costs. I've email him 4x and have not had a response yet. Should I just pay for all of them and just write off the extra expense of shipping? Or should I continue waiting? Tired of seeing all the eBay reminders about paying the seller, but at the same time, if the guy got hit by a truck or something, I may never see my items after I pay.

I'd give it a few days, depending on how much of a savings it is. I assume you sent his a Request for Total?

Yeah, I used the eBay messaging system. Forwarded a copy to myself just to be sure. It's almost as if he has changed his mind about the sale. I figure to save about $60 if he simply put everything into one box instead of seven different ones.

What did the auction listing say? Did he say he combines etc?

I mean in this day and ebay age that's almost a given.

I got my own problems with a seller too.

Look at it this way, he stands to make an extra $60 by stuffing them in one box and still charging you the "each" rate. He is probably waiting you out figuring that you'll get frustrated and want your stuff so you'll just pay the extra shipping. If he does that he'll be missing 6 tracking #'s and you can hammer his stars and get most of it for free after a few "item not received" claims. Not that I'm advocating doing that, but if he is playing games you gota suit up and get on the field too.

I'd wait, he'll combine shipping if he wants your payment.

    Nice guess, but no image

If he has changed his mind about the combined shipping, I'm OK at this point. I just wish he'd say so. "Sorry, I know I said I would combine the shipping, but I now I can't because [insert lame excuse here]." Certainly better than just leaving me hanging here.

Try contacting him through his paypal email address if you have it. I've recently had several sellers tell me they did not receive my message sent to them through the eBay system.

I tried forwarding one of the eBay messages to him using his private email directly from my own private email. No dice. If he doesn't want my money, that's fine. I just wish he'd say so because I now have these 7 auctions listed on my account as being outstanding on payment.

I would be reluctant to pay for the items now because you may not receive your cards. Does he have 100% FB with multiple selling transactions?

He has one negative out of 600+ and it was for slow shipping.
