Bo jackson autograph help

So I have this 1990 score bo jackson, thing is the card alone has some nice value the problem is it has his autograph but it doesn't look authentic. When I was 14 I did some work for this guy for free to help clean up his yard not expecting pay in return and he offered me a choice from his collection and I picked the bo jackson autograph. It was the only auto in his collection so I'm unsure if he was capable of forging, especially when most folks forge they try to mimic the auto not make it off like it is. I'm 28 now and it's been years, I looked up his autograph and it looks nothing like any of them so I'm guessing its fake making a valuable card worthless except I notice he has a lot of variations to his autograph so I was hoping if someone who's seen a lot of his autographs could help verify if it may be real or fake. So far I think it's forged. image

    No good
  • So you think it's forged too? I'm gonna drop by a sports card shop before class and see what Bob thinks.

Does this card really have "some nice value"?

The card was a hot seller in 1990, sometimes fetching $10. By 1997, it wasn't hot, and had become cheap. Now, it's stil cheap - it's the type of card you expect to see in a dealer's quarter or dime box at a show. The autograph is a totally amateurish fake too.

  • Thanks guys, turns out my speculation was real, even the dealer said it's a dud. I thought it had some nice value due to ebay checking, turns out its as good as toilet paper image

Hello and welcome to the forums. I do have to start off by busting your balls though. You say that this had some nice value due to eBay checking? Might I ask what exactly you were searching for? Did you mistakenly do a search for 1 oz gold or 10 oz silver or something along those lines? image
