Onlyroosies (board member and on ebay)

Contact Nick. Onlyroosies is your man. I'll also plug NFC, they get some nice roosies. To a lesser extent, Kryptonitecomics and Greattoning on ebay also get some pretty decent roosies.

NFC is your top bet. Ive sold some of my pieces but still have more colorful examples than onlyroosies.

    Hi DJ

Keep your eyes on Teletrade and ebay. I would rather see you start an MS66FB/MS67FB set. Completing a colorful all PCGS MS67
set is near impossible. If you want really pretty coins you will have to mix NGC and PCGS. Check out Rainbowroosie's set on the
NGC registry. I have a nice toned PCGS 1953D MS66FB on eBay right now that would be a nice start for you.

Good Luck and if I help PM me.

The holder does not matter to me. Im also not even looking for FT/FB coins. My main goal is finding MS67 examples that display the color green in the toning. Id settle for 66 examples as well if the color tickles my fancy. I know this set wont be complete for a long time and that's fine by me. No matter how long it takes im ready as long as in the end ill have examples that im happy with.
  • OK since no one else answered your question about NFC I will. NFC is Numismatic Financial. the website is nfccoin.com. Also dont collect labels collect coins. 66,67 yeah yeah yeah. Might as well use a dartboard. Just get nice coins. Good luck.

pcgs ms67 roosevelts with nice color are a real pleasure to look at ! it will take some time to complete a colorful pcgs ms67 set , but it will be rewarding !

and by the way, if a colorful pcgs ms67 1961 or 1963d roosie comes up for auction don't even think of bidding on those two, because they are mine !

I love toned Roosies and was lucky to pick up a Whtiman holder full of them a few years ago.

Becoka photographed my set and posted pics to the forums in August, 2009.

I think I will TTT his thread so that you Roosie lovers can check them out.

Be prepared to pay out the yin yang for coins like that!

But a nice set of roosies could be put together from ebay, TT with some patience. Roosies tend to tone up nicer than washingtons and franklins, so it shouldn't be to hard to find nice colorful examples. Just finding ms67 quality coins with rainbow toning is more challenging.

    Good luck to you!

  • I got these dimes off Ebay in a Wayte Raymond album for about melt value. Not sure how many 67's in the lot but coins have great color. I had Todd Pollock take the pictures in the album. Most of the coins in the album now off for grading.

  • About 6-7 years ago I bought almost a complete set of 66 and 67 roosies from my dealer, $8 each. One of the date, one of the 67's was sitting on ebay for 7 days at like $40, in the last 30 seconds the auction went to almost $1k. Don't remember the date, but I now there are some killers out there. Bought a MS-67 1982- No P strong for $140 and 1 1996-W in 68FB for $50. Can't remember but wanna say I made over 10k on that deal. They must have paid $5 each across the board for my $8 each.

Sounds good! That would be a really fun set to build!

I see nice 67 Roosies on ebay all the time. And if you find a nice one in a NGC holder just cross it over so you can do the PCGS Registry set.

Thanks. Those Wayte Raymond Albums really did a nice job toning those coins and Todd is one of the top coin photographers out there to capture it. Can't wait to see how they grade out.

So...what does a coin like that run you? Might be of some interest to the OP.

The coin grades NGC MS67*FT, and would carry quite a premimum.

I am not laughing at the question or the OP, I just love how gentlly Lablover expressed the possible setback as to cost...........image
  • Well got the grades back from NGC for the Modern Tier ones I sent in from this set. This is the biggie out of the bunch out of the 1955-1964 submissions.

  • << <i>Nice coin. Is the white line on the obverse center just a break in the tone or is it a scratch? And the grade is? If you go to your settings you can turn on the private message feature, and then by clicking on the little lock you can send and receive messages. >>

That white line is just a break in the tone. Grade is:
    004 1958 10C MS 67* FT
Only one other in that grade and 2 MS 67*+ FT
Here are the grades for the 14 Modern I sent in. Overall pretty happy with the results. I thought a couple more could of went FT but oh well.
    001 1955 S 10C MS 66
    002 1956 10C MS 66
    003 1957 D 10C MS 66
    004 1958 10C MS 67* FT
    005 1958 D 10C MS 66*
    006 1959 10C MS 65 FT
    007 1959 D 10C MS 66 FT
    008 1960 10C REVERSE WHEEL MARK
    009 1961 10C MS 66
    010 1961 D 10C MS 67*
    011 1962 10C ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE
    012 1962 D 10C MS 66* FT
    013 1963 10C MS 66 FT
    014 1964 10C MS 66

Thanks. I am pretty happy with the results. Can't wait for the 1946-1954's grades to come in. About a months wait I'm afraid.
