I am amazed at how many want to ridicule the gentleman selling this card. Sometimes we must look past the price of the object and examine closely who benefits. This sale is for the children. It benefits less fortunate children. It brings medical attention to them that if not for this gentleman they would not receive. I certainly am not in such financial shape that I could make a purchase but I do what I can. A friend of mine for years has collected the pop tops from cans to donate to the local Childrens Hospital. Each time I enjoy a Bud Lite I pop that top and save it for him. Sometimes after a round of golf I finish my last Bud Lite and am about to leave (with my designated driver, of course) someone will say "one more Ralph?" I reply "No We must be leaving. Then I think of the children, and I just can't leave until I know I've done all I can for them. So I do have one more, "For the children." Some of you who have won "Lifes lottery" and can afford to should at least make a viable offer. Remember it's for the children.
Shocked Jeter himself hasn't snatched up this bargain yet. If some of the proceeds were going to Tim Maston's family I might think about it. Oh wait.....
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo. ~WalterSobchak

I believe it's possible, I think lots of people do general searches and look at the highest priced cards.

and for the cereal folks...
The auction says 20% goes to the kids heart charity.
$2,000,000
- 20% $400,000
= $1,600,000
It is obvious who is really making out on this and it is not the kids.
