Perhaps a silly question, but I've never used anything other than cash for my transactions @ major coin shows - do dealers in attendance accept credit cards?

Is Mr Eureka bringing cheese and wine?

The wine was delivered to our local friend a few weeks ago! And I believe my table mate Dirk is bringing the cheese.

Dirk says customs sometimes confiscates the cheese

That's a helluva risk to take, but I think he should try anyway.

Hmm... Wine, you say? How about some vodka shots?

I had a choice between going to CICF and spending a weekend with my girlfriend and my ex-girlfriend (her best friend) visiting from pittsburgh, so just finished booking my flight to Chicago. See you there!

Anyone wants anything from the Duty Free?

Well, it is great that so many of you are coming to my fine city! I look forward to meeting with all of you hopefully. Andy and Civitas I will be swinging by your tables most likely on Friday. The last time I went to CICF was in 1992 when I was hmmm.......15 years old, so I did not command the attention of many dealers. Now that I am a grown up....I will be ignored by the same people again, I am sure. image But this time I have you guys to talk to! PM me if you would like to make some sort of effort to gather at Andy or Civitas' tables at some point on Friday.

I guess I'll just pick up a bottle of red and a bottle of Absolut. I'm staying at the Crowne Plaza there - are you guys planning to hit the bar? I might be too late for any kind of dinner planned, since I wouldn't be there until 9pm or so.

The bourse closes at 6PM, so your best bet is the "after dinner crowd" at the bar.

United canceled my flight without letting me know, so on top of spending $100 extra on cab fair to and from the Airport, I wouldn't be flying out until 7am tomorrow. Should be there before the bourse floor opens up tomorrow. Andy, I'm bringing an interesting early Guadalajara 8 Reales i'd love your opinion on.
