A few review and bump opinions needed

Thinking about sending these 5 along with some 71 high numbers in for reviews. Any opinions welcome. imageimageimageimageimage
From what I can tell, 707 is the DOLLAR STORE compared to deans_cards. For what that guy charges, if I ever bought anything from him I would expect it to be delivered to me in a frickin' limo.

Reggie looks like a sure bet, as long as the TL is OK. The centering and a few stray print issues concern me on the others, but the Sparky has a shot. The McLain (IIRC, can't see when I'm in reply mode) seems to have an edge ding on the right side, so probably not that one.

    Sparky looks blurry.

he looked that way on TV back in October '84 as well, while i was recovering from a drunken stupor over the failure of the Cubs.

    i say Reggie. image

Do you need to have a membership to send in for review? I have about 5 cards that I would like to send in as well.

    BTW...go with the Reggie.

Reggie, Brock, and McLain have a shot

The Palmer looks to OC and the Anderson looks to blurry to have a shot at bumping.

Reggie Jackson is the best card of the 5 IMO

I'm thinking only Reggie may bump. The others have print dots, slight OC and registration is off on Sparky.

  • only the reggie has a shot...
top left corner looks a little soft, would need to see a closer scan of that corner to say for sure..

Agreed. You don't see too many '71 Reggie's centered that well, so it may have a shot at a half point bump even with a touch on the corner.

Agreed #2: If the current wording of PSA's half-point scale means anything, then a card that was previously given an 8, and has one outstanding characteristic (in this case great centering) should be a strong candidate for the bump.

Reggie only, or maybe with your worst 1971 PSA 8. Gorgeous card.

Agree that the Reggie is sharp. Would love to see the back of it.
