the card was included in an extensive collection that was recently purchased. i had two well known area collectors look at it and researched the card for me and info came back legit. you can verify the card by going to PSA website and type in the serial number. thank you and happy bidding.

Hey, guys have no fear.. "the card was included in an extensive collection..." and he "...had two well known area collectors look at it and researched the card for me and info came back legit."
I guess the "area collectors" must be "well-known" for not knowing much if they can't identify a Gretzky reprint. It doesn't take much knowledge of the OPC Gretzky rookie to identify this one as a fake. Hopefully someone doesn't get ripped off.

Seriously Muggyman what did you expect to get far as a reply?
something like this?
"Dear muggyman,
the card was included in an extensive collection that was recently purchased. two well know area collectors and myself decided to make a couple of grand each by cracking out a real OPC psa 9 and pulling the old switcharoo. we super glued the slab back together which btw you can tell from all the cracks on the edges of the slab shown in the picture. you can verify the card by going to PSA website and type in the serial number. thank you and happy bidding. "
Or better yet maybe this?
"Dear muggyman,
the card was given to me by my grandfather. I don't know anything about cards."
PSA would like to send a representative to meet with you regarding this card before your upcoming sale. They have been alerted by the investigative fraud department on the east coast about this PSA holder. Will you be able to tell them who/where you got this card from?
Would you allow a buyer to come pick up this item?
I am currently involved in helping authorities follow this particular Gretzky card and serial #, your participation will become necessary.
Good luck with the bidding and be sure to not worry...
The card will eventually turn up again and it still is floating around out there. I wish there was a way to have the authorities swoop in and confiscate the card so we don't have to keep policing for it...

"Dear deetz49,
I just wanted to ask if you knew the source of this card? Have you had it for a while? Did you send it in to PSA yourself?
I am interested in bidding and I was just doing my diligence before winning it.
Thank you!

WOW! LOL!
The only bad thing is...
The card will eventually turn up again and it still is floating around out there. I wish there was a way to have the authorities swoop in and confiscate the card so we don't have to keep policing for it...
I think you meant to say:
"I don't know nothing about cards."
The use of the word 'anything' is not generally used.
Why is everyone so passionate about these scammers?
But if you don't know anything, then you don't know. You know?
