Just picked this up to finish off my 1954 set, do you think it will cross? The black line at the bottom is from the scanner.

I haven't got it in hand yet, so I'm not sure about the top of the card. If it appears altered, it will be repackaged and sent back to the seller. If it appears legit, I will send it in it's current holder to PSA to see if it will cross.

With a picture as shown, didn't you even ask the seller about the top of the card?

I am not a vintage baseball collector and used to trimmed cards. In the scan I see it apears the card dips down and maybe that is the holder. Overall it is a very nice card but until the issue at the top is resolved do nothing.

If that is simply a scan issue then you have a nice card.

That is the black portion of the inside of the holder that gives it a strange look.

I agree, I have never had a card graded by this company, but is it possible the inside black liner has dropped down below the card? A question for the seller I guess.

You can clearly see that the gasket is a little lower than the edge of the card on top lol..
