PSA: No authorized recipient - HELP!

I sent my first set of cards to PSA using my 6 free from my membership. Can't wait to get them back. I was checking my registered mail ticket online, and saw this today:

Bullet Notice Left (No Authorized Recipient Available), April 02, 2011, 10:47 am, NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
Bullet Out for Delivery, April 02, 2011, 9:11 am, NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
Bullet Sorting Complete, April 02, 2011, 9:01 am, NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
Bullet Arrival at Post Office, April 02, 2011, 6:12 am, NEWPORT BEACH, CA 92658
Bullet Processed through Sort Facility, April 01, 2011, 11:42 pm, BELL GARDENS, CA 90201
Bullet Processed through Sort Facility, March 31, 2011, 8:46 pm, SPRINGFIELD, MA 01152
Bullet Acceptance, March 31, 2011, 12:37 pm, CANTON, CT 06019

So is PSA really going to send someone to the post office to pick up my package of cards? Does it get returned to me? Is PSA closed on Saturdays? If so, how do you time it so that it arrives on a non-Saturday?

Confused!!

No need to worry. My most recent sub stated the same thing till someone signed for it. I believe they use "no authorized recipient" when they scan the box upon arrival at the PO Box 6180. PSA sends people to pick up packages periodically then, though I'm not sure they do on Saturdays.

Good luck with your grades. Since these are the first submissions you sent in, why not list the grades that you think each will get ... and see how close you come.

USPS scanners used to just have "attempted" and we used that for anytime a business recipient was closed. They updated the software a few months ago to add options for why something wasn't delivered. If a business is closed and the parcel needs signed for then there's no authorized person available.

It will get delivered monday, no worries at all.

PSA sends a pick up person everyday. There is no way on Earth all those cards get loaded on a little old postal truck
that has disaster written all over it. PSA doesn't work Saturdays so your all set it will be Monday.

ha! Close actually! The Ryan is slightly OC, I'm hoping for 7's on the Mantles and the Mays, and a 5 on the Hornsby, 4 on the Musial. Wish me luck!

So - USPS says it was delivered yesterday. When will PSA update my account to say they have it? Do I check on my account page on PSA or is there another spot to look it up by number? Thanks from a submitting rookie!!

I've had horrible delivery luck lately. I never received my package from BBCEX from the group rip, Steve says to wait until the end of this week then he'll put a trace on it image

  • I sent my first sub in 2 months ago, It took 3 or 4 days to update the info. One note, I checked mine everyday and when the cards were finally graded 2 of mine were mislabeled. I called immediately and they put them on shipping hold and fixed the error, even though it delayed my shipment a few days. They were very professional and it worked out better than having to return the cards.
