I called 6 different friends who live or work in Sacramento and got each of them with the same joke.

I opened by congratulating them on now owning a basketball team. Each of them responded with something like "What?" or "Huh?" I then followed up by telling them that ESPN is reporting that the city of Sacramento is going to use eminent domain to purchase the Sacramento Kings to keep them from moving to Anaheim.

They all believed it. None were happy, and most of them had some choice comments about the Kings, the Maloofs, or Mayor Kevin Johnson and the city council.

That was a good time to say "April Fools".

If someone has one of those large oversized shower heads in their shower you unscrew the bottom and put beef bullion cubes in there. (it will not work with smaller shower heads) The hot water will melt during the shower and the person will smell like meat for days.

We got a press release that Toronto FC had traded home town favorite and MLS star player Dwayne DeRosario to New York Red Bull. I thought for sure it was an April Fools joke ... but it was for real. Toronto fans were irate. TFC would have been better off informing everyone it was a prank. I can't believe it.

It's been a few years back, but I knew a buddy was having some friends over to do a little beer drinking, on April 1st. I went over early, offering to 'help get ready'. I slipped into the bathroom and mixed a pack of clear gelatin into the toilette water.
