Is there any value above spot for Hecla or Rosario rounds and bars, 1 ouncers.

Just got a call from a neighbor that has some of each and was wondering if there
are any that I need to look for. Said he got them in the 60's and the Rosarios
are Nicaragua made.

thanks in advance.

PS: Search function only showed Hecla Mining stock thread.

I usually check ebay completed auctions when looking for an average of what buyers are actually paying for an item. It is a great research tool. Current listings only tell me what sellers are wanting for the item. Big difference in many cases.

Yes, I checked as well and no Rosarios listed as sold. Hecla and Rosarios are all late 70's that are up or sold. This is
60's from what he said. I asked specifically as to when he got them.

As silver bars and rounds go, are they

    A. Somewhat ugly or stupid looking
    B. Normal, average looking rounds and bars, or
    C. Cool looking and feeling, particularly the bars?

People generaly pay premiums over spot for the cool stuff (thick, chunky, old-timey but still reliable looking, nice designs, etc.) and pay spot or slightly less for tacky or unattractive pieces.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Spot it is, unless it's ugly! Then it's 75% of spot!!

    lol
