Evening,
Because I am a Slacker and DumbA$$, even though I have personally opened over 200 Wax/Paper and 50 Cello 1961 Nu-Card Dinosaur packs I never kept track of the Sequencing of the Packs. And there is a sequence, I can guarantee that, I used to predict what would be in a cello by the top card and/or a Wax by the first top card. But I never kept a comprehensive record.
Bernie, Bruce, Mark, Anybody??
Thanks
Neil

Neil,
I agree that there is obvious sequencing. Going through wax pack/box, it seemed like every few packs recycled itself. Like you, I never recorded any of this, but from what I can remember cards 3, 5, 6, 12, 22, 29, 45, 62, 65 and maybe a few other ran in a pretty predictable sequence.
My heart would kinda sink when I saw one of these cards on the top of a pack.
Sorry, my post is pretty much worthless.
Currently collecting.....your guess is as good as mine.
