I arrived in Munich a couple of days ago for business and had a 2 hour window to head over to MGM Münzgalerie München, nearby the hotel, which I found as a very pleasant shop. I did not find anything on the Taler front, yet did look at their massive medal cabinet. I felt like a kid in a candy shop, such a broad selection and variety. I did not have time to really look at all yet wish there were such shops and more patient dealers in the US that enjoy the interaction and not just the sale.

These are the 2 medals I picked up, both 65mm and thick. Took some quick snaps here at the hotel yet will try and do better when I get back.
The 1st is an 1877 Ships and Seafaring Medal.
2nd is Brandenburg-Prussia Medal Commemorating Wilhelm I.
