All I can say is, that if I submitted this coin to PCGS, they would send it back in a gennie holder for questionable color. JMHO Mel

looks great to me. like it was just cracked out of a au58 holder
could go 63 but i dont see it in my hands.

doesnt look cleaned to me, looks like that woodgrain coloring and planchet
stuff ya see on early lincolns, I could be wrong but I like it

I agree with Pontiac - looks very nice to me, common woodgrain from lack of proper mix in the planchet alloys. Usual great strike for 1914's and I see no rub at all, so my guess is it would grade probably MS63/64 BN - nice luster but not enough red for RB designation.

That is a spectacular coin for all the reasons Charmy said. Superb . . .and if I submitted it . . . MS64.
