Did a little "urban mining" today.......searched $311.50 Halves

Asked the bank teller if they had any halves I could buy out of the coin counter and she said she thought there were a few in there. Turned out to be $311.50 face value which is all the better for me because they usually only have about $30-40 worth when I ask.

The spoils were as follows:

2- Walkers
3- 40% Kennedys
3- Statehood Quarters
5- Nickels
1- George Washington Token of some sort that is holed

If searching just by the edge of the coins in bulk I would have missed the 2 Walkers and one of the 40%'s due to the fact that they were really dirty and masked the silver edge to look like the clad pieces. I'm glad I took the time to look at each coin. Not a big score but it's silver.

    Nice job on the 2 90% and 3 40%.

But did you pay 50 cents a piece for the quarters, nickels, and token? image

That's what I have to figure out. I didn't count the halves to make sure there were 623 in there, so yes, there's a possibility that those Nickels and Quarters cost me 50c each. image
