New custom: 1957 Topps Jackie Robinson

What is Topps had rushed a Jackie Robinson card into production between the time he was traded to the Giants and the time he announced his retirement?

This is my beta version, I haven't printed it yet.

The why and how of my '57 Robinson custom will be posted on my blog (link below) later today.
  • Hey! I was going to do a 57 Topps of Robinson! I still will, eventually, but I can't put him in the Giants Uniform. I always wondered why there was no 57 Topps card. He played in 56, and he is on the 57 team card. So they never made a card back then that showed the stats for his entire career.

Nice work, even though I can't see him as a hated Giant!!!

Bob ... THAT card fits so well into the '57 set. You sure that was not an original card that has been lost all these years? LOL
